Joe DiDomenico is a semifinalists for two Adobe® Design Achievement Awards

Two entries from Applehead Factory’s Art Director, Joe DiDomenico, were selected from over four thousand submissions for Semifinalist this week from the 2011 Adobe Design Achievement Awards.

The Adobe® Design Achievement Awards celebrate student and faculty achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The competition – which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software – honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, developers and computer artists from the world’s top institutions of higher education.

The Semifinalist Certificates were awarded to Joe in the Innovation in Traditional Media category for his work on the “I Put the Can in Cancer” book, a visual journey through illustrator and cartoonist Christian Patchell’s life changing battle with cancer and the Agorable Teddies Style Guide.

The team at Applehead Factory Design Studio is excited that the judges for the Adobe Design Achievement Awards recognized Joe’s design abilities for visual communication and look forward to the awards ceremony being held in Taipei China in October.
